Four Ways to Get in FREE to the CP National Horse Show

Lexington, Kentucky- Oct. 18, 2015- With the CP National Horse Show only a few weeks away, it is time to start planning your schedule for all the fun festivities! The event runs Tuesday, Oct. 27 - Sunday, Nov. 1 at the Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park. Tickets are required Friday night, Saturday and Sunday. Kids under 12 are always admitted free. This year the CP National Horse Show is offering four different ways to earn free access to each night's premier events, including special performances by the world famous Budweiser Clydesdales Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Bring your 2015 Breeders Cup ticket stub.

Hold on to your Breeders Cup ticket stub! You can be a spectator for free during any CP National Horse Show ticketed performance if you present a 2015 Breeder's Cup ticket stub.

Bring your membership card from any equine organization based at the Kentucky Horse Park.

If you are a member of an equine organization based at the Kentucky Horse Park, just flash your membership card to get in free. Organizations include United States Equestrian Federation, United States Dressage Federation, United States Pony Club and many more.

Sign up your barn or equestrian group for Dover Saddlery's Barn Night.

Friday at 7 p.m.: Dover Saddlery's Barn Night is free when your barn or equestrian group registers online at http://www.nhs.org/barn-night. Once you register your group, you are eligible to win prizes in the following categories: Largest Group in Costume. Best Group Costume, Best Group Spirit and Best Individual Costume. Win the Grand Prize of a brand new blue RXZ Golf Cart courtesy of the Kentucky Hunter Jumper Association.

Other prizes include a wheelbarrow full of barn supplies courtesy of The Tack Show of Lexington, a tack trunk full of supplies donated by KBC Vet Supply, Shawn O'Shine wash wands from Shawn O'Shine, a gift bag from the National Thoroughbred Racing Association, and an Equine Couture outfit courtesy of Dover Saddlery. 

Participants are encouraged to make banners, dress up, and show their group spirit as they enjoy watching the Salamander Hotels & Resorts $35,000 Accumulator Costume Jumper Class and a demonstration by the Budweiser Clydesdales.

Come in Costume on Saturday

Saturday at 6:30 p.m: Come in costume for a free Halloween Trick-or-Treat on the concourse! Visit over 30 vendors, then stay and watch the $30,000 USEF U25 National Championship and the Budweiser Clydesdale Hitch demonstration. 

Sunday All Day: Bring your 2015 Breeders' Cup ticket stub or your membership card from any organization based at the Kentucky Horse Park! The day begins at 9 a.m. with the final round of the Maclay National Championship, followed by the Budweiser Clydesdales at 12 p.m. and the  $250,000 Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Lexington, present by CP at 2 p.m.

The CP National Horse Show is a week-long championship event featuring the $250,000 Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Lexington, presented by CP, "AA"-rated hunters, open jumpers, junior/amateur jumpers, and the ASPCA / NHSAA Maclay Championship Finals. The event will run Oct. 27-Nov. 1, 2015, in the Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky, site of the 2010 FEI World Equestrian Games.

2 p.m.:  $250,000 Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Lexington: Olympic Gold Medalists and equestrians from around the world will compete for top honors in this thrilling competition.

All evening competitions will begin at approximately 
7 p.m.
 
Parking:
The Kentucky Horse Park has waived the normal parking fee during the CP National Horse Show. Parking is free. While dogs are permitted at the Kentucky Horse Park on a leash, no dogs are allowed in the Alltech Arena during the CP National Horse Show.

The Kentucky Horse Park is located at 4089 Iron Works Parkway, Lexington, KY 40511. The KHP is 8 miles northeast of Lexington at Exit 120 on Interstate 75.
