Wellington, Fla. - June 28, 2018 - FilmRise and director Ron Davis announce the release of Life in the Doghousea feature documentary about the lives of 2018 National Hunter Hall of Fame inductee Danny Robertshaw and his partner of 29 years, Ron Danta. The film takes you inside Danny and Ron's Rescuethe charity the couple runs out of their South Carolina home. The filmmakers have partnered with Gathr® Films' Theatrical-on-Demand® platform so the film may come to a theater in your hometown as a much-needed fundraising opportunity for local dog rescue.

Inspiring and uplifting, the feature length documentary chronicles the life stories and dedicated dog rescue efforts of Danny and Ron. In the film, we are given an insider's view of Danny and Ron's Rescue as the couple welcomes up to 75 abused and abandoned dogs to live with them in their home, ensuring they are in a comfortable living environment. We then follow Danny and Ron through their daily challenges and observations as they approach their 10,000th rescue.
